Lovely day painting in the countryside a ten-minute walk from my home. It was overcast, a bit breezy at times, and then sun would peek out quickly and I would try to capture shadows. Cyclists, a horse and buggy, hikers...heard distant bells of the local pastor's flock of goats. I wish I knew the names of all the lovely spring flowers.
As practice makes perfect, I cannot but make progress; each drawing one makes, each study one paints, is a step forward."
